Metro DC Chapter of ASTD is Top ChIP Earner in First Quarter of 2008
Falls Church, Virginia, May 2, 2008: The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) recently identified the Metro DC Chapter of ASTD as the top Chapter Incentive Program (ChIP) earner among all chapters in ASTD during the first quarter of 2008.
ChIP is a revenue-sharing program that offers chapters the opportunity to earn additional revenue. Through ChIP, chapters can earn thousands of dollars from business they generate. The Metro DC Chapter of ASTD, whose ChIP code is Ch2034, earned $623.62 since January 2008. These funds will help the chapter maintain and develop additional programs and services for its members.
“This is the first time that the Metro DC Chapter has been the top ChIP earner and we’re thrilled to have some additional funds to support our chapter activities,” said Kathy Reiffenstein, President of the Metro DC Chapter of ASTD.

In order to be eligible for consideration we would like you to submit a testimonial telling us how your DC chapter membership has helped you achieve your professional goals and what drives you to continue your participation with the chapter. Only active members of the chapter (those whose membership has not lapsed as of 4/30/08) are eligible for this opportunity. The winner will be chosen at random by a board member.
